Oops, I forgot about that little INT runback for a TD. I guess I was so caught up in the moment, I couldn't tell who was offense and who was defense. One team, one fight right.

to suggest an appropriate rebuttal to the growing myth named Muschamp.....
It was a cool, slightly rainy November evening when two novice coordinators collided! One embattled with a ground swell of public opinion against him. The other, surviving nicely on a seemingly successful season. At the conclusion of this event, one which prognasticators and scholarly sportswriters alike likened the formers chances to that of a frigid snap in Hades, the embattled coach rallied his warriors and produced a stifling gameplan. The \"chosen\" team was limited to only 9 first downs, 171 yards of total offense, gave up 4 interceptions and could only amass some 21 minutes of possession time.
Anyone looking at that statistical disadvantage would conclude that one novice DC schooled the other....and they did...In this example, the teacher was CWM and the pupil was Muschamp! One could argue that this event was an isolated abberration, but was it?
I contend that talent, desire, identity and drive play as equally a vital role as coaching. Every coach has cranial gas from time to time. Dooley, Erk, Darth Visor, the list is endless. It's what you do with what you've got and a lot of luck that separates success from failure.
So, I'm no closer to tossing CWM out than I am willing to anoint Muschamp.....
BTW: The Senior Sage qualification?!?!?..I am merely a fan. Someone who happened upon this site, some eight or nine years ago and never left. By virtue of attrition, I may be the only charter or near charter member left. I've seen many come and go and I'm apt to take a hiatus here and there, particularly after the LOI's are opened and that long, devastating drought begins!
My opinions are just that. Thankfully, there are many on this site with far greater insight than my own. I was born a Dawg, raised a Dawg and I suspect I'll die one too...but not just yet. While I've only been on this little blue marble for 46 years, I figure I've got another half century of barking to do!!!!
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! GATA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GooseDawg,
Thanx for that post; very infomative about our \"farm system.\" It does sound very encouraging for next year. I am excited to absorb that information.

True and sometimes that's good and sometimes that's bad.
