By a show of hands??....

How many are still calling for Slick Willy's removal? I seem to recall the same element of angst last season until a certain turning point,...AllBarn! Suddenly, CWM wasn't so bad and we finished the season strong! Folks, with a few noted miscues, Slick Willy's Dawgs handed Superman a boatload of kryptonite.

I've read a lot of threads, posts and articles about which particular moment set the stage for our victory and believe there were two. The first came on the initial play from scrimmage, when Tebow was rocked for one of six sackes. If you've got the game recorded, watch, NO, more importantly LISTEN to the hit! Then, play close attention to his demeanor, post turf introduction! The last time I saw a look like that was on a doe just before she met the grill of my mom's Delta 88! So what did Superman do after getting his world rocked??? He called a time out!!!....That was message #1. The second was the post TD celebration that sent a message to the entire UF team, as well as those clad in orange, that this was a WAR! Again, pundits will analyze the merits of this event till the cows return, to me, it was an absolute stroke of genius!!! We challenged and they failed to respond, plain and simple, and in that very moment, we may all have witnessed the \"death\" of the Jax Jinx!

What we've needed all season long is an identity and stability, not a wholesale change in coaches. IMVHO, CWM proved, once again, his ability and his rightful place as the DC.

GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!

I've always contended that WM's defensive style and prevent schemes and the (theoretical) bend but don't break philosophy and passive play calling wasn't working. My suggestion was fix the problem or be replaced. Saturday's game, I hope, is a sign of his new aggressive, attack style defense. If he sticks with that scheme, the D will be fine.

NCDawg, As a Senior Sage Dawg, I sincerely and deeply value your opinion; that's no joke.
You may well be correct, and in deference to your wisdom, accrued no doubt through many battles and seasons, my musings are but a pittance of relatively OTCC's (off the cuff comments).
But since you did pose the question, I can do naught but reply w/ honesty.

Had I the choice and the power this day to make the change of DC's would I? Yes; I would still take Muschamp in a hot tick!

I agree with both sadlerdawg and DawgSpeare. If stay attacking, fine. Just don't feel that's his true style. DB's still aren't covering anybody but the front seven were awesome.

Choice of WM or Will Muschamp? Muschamp hands down.

I'm with ya, wlayton. I certainly hope Saturday's scheme becomes WM's \"true style\". He can't argue with the results. If he reverts back to the prevent, that would be a huge mistake. I guess the jury's still out on the DB's--they're going to need a game or two to get used to covering guys...after all, they've only ever played prevent zones.
