Agree Buc...now make it the last four posts to include yours..

More examples of why Dawgs.com. ..facts with no fluff....

Remembering back to spring ball ..which seems a decade ago..

Believe we were more concerned about our defense than offense at

That time ..... frustration... Pretty much covers my thoughts about

Our offense.... we know the talent is there and it’s waiting to bust

Open..... wasn’t that long ago...even with Bobo we scored 40 pts..

And let our opponents score 41..... offense scored enough points

On Bama to win a SECCG and a Natty.... stubbed our toe on defense both games.....

We have two of the three keys to championship football

Defense and Special Teams..... lagging is the offense..

Execution......making plays....

Coaches...players are aware..... Tech game...

Rest Cager...... let our OL heal....play our youth.... for game

Experience....focus..get a lead ...early...

Go Dawgs

Go Dawgs!

One thing to take heart in is this; I do not believe Jake Fromm somehow forgot to throw the ball with accuracy after 2 seasons of doing it pretty darn well.

We have receivers with good hands, but what they lack is the size and experience dealing with very big SEC caliber corners. This is why Cager is so important and there is a marked difference in our offense when he can't go, or is severely limited.

Rest him again against Tech and try to get him back at 80-90% against LSU, and we will be better.

Some of these other guys have got to use their bodies better to shield defenders and catch that ball out away from their chest.

Fromm... I don't know what to say. I saw a couple of times where I didn't like his footwork and the bottom half is the foundation for everything the top half does. Maybe it's that and someone will spot it.

Remember... we don't always have to score 38. If we hold them to 23 we only have to score 24.

Go Dawgs

I haven’t been around for awhile but my humble two cents:
Kirby has created a monster defense.
I absolutely love watching these kids play ball. Not only great players but quality, high character young men.
Kirby and Lanning have created an aberration, Erk is smiling.

Call me crazy, I think Fromm, Swift and company will respond.

Old school football, aggressive defense.
Work with what you got on offense.
This team reminds me a lot of the Raiders of the seventies, winners.
Nothing else matters.

And Kirby, old school SEC coach, passionate, irreverent, we are fortunate to have a coach totally invested.
I won’t doubt this team’s will to win.

Choice words Wart....always good to read your thoughts averagedawg....

Excellent point Wart...l Jake hasn’t forgot how to throw a football

In our only TD drive ..Jske had two perfect back shoulder throws

One to each sideline .. then dropped a perfect lead pass to Pickens

Jake and Swift can do a lot to lead us out of our offense funk..

Go Dawgs....

Go Dawgs!

I've read through the posts in the last two threads over and over, I find one pretty common opinion from most every one and that is that we agree that these Dawgs want to win and are doing their best to do that. The one thing that I havent heard mentioned is that the offense might be pressing and thus overthinking, overthrowing and generally out thinking themselves, they sure do appear to be trying very hard in my opinion. Some times you just have to let it happen because you are good enough!

GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!! GATA !!!!!!!!!!!

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

When you run and 65-70% of the time you do it out of the same read option look with a QB who poses no running threat, it's hard for to imagine we are over-"thinking" anything.

Now Jake may be pressing in the pass game, but that usually leads to forcing balls where they shouldn't go and throwing ints as a result.

The thought has merit but I tend to think the simplest explanation is usually the one you should go with first and that to me is that this team lost its top SIX wideouts after last season That's a lot of lost timing and SEC experience to lose.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
