DFD..... between college and the NFL the number of

Coordinators who make the jump to HC and then crash and burn

Happens all to often....sometimes it not entirely their fault..

Lived in Chattanooga for 30 plus years.... much like UGA up until

Recent years there was a high level of talent but lacked playing for NC’s until Tee Martin in 1988...

Wasn’t pretty when PP and UT’s version of mahogany row eased

Johnny Majors out the door ...then came PP turn to be dumped

........ Knoxvegas....is toxic..

Had to bring PP back as AD because nobody in their right mind would want the job..

Agree CJP... started the culture change in Athens...No doubt we wouldn’t be were we are without him and his efforts.

Also believe CJP .....gets to much BS .... he will walk....man knows how to coach defenses....his next job is a phone call away

Go Dawgs

Sometimes leadership is acquired, with the young man below, don't know that I have "ever" seen a more qualified "Freshman" that will definitely lead both on and off the field. Going to be worth at least one holding penalty, probably more every game. Either that or there will be some quarterbacks on their backs or getting rid of the football, not completing the play. That not only helps the defense, big reward for the offense. Really like what he had to say about one of our "young" defensive coaches. Young man seems to think that 2019 will open some eyes around the SEC and other areas of college football.

Xavier Truss mentions Nolan Smith a couple of times. Really like Xavier's attitude.

Buc.... thanks for sharing..agree many of our incoming recruits

Will definitely earn meaningful playing time...both sides of the ball

In the past conversation was ....we take our foot of the gas... not so

With CKS..... every snap is a learning experience....practice or

In a game... he chooses to use them wisely.... spring game

Will carry a lot of interest.... promise teams on our schedule working

Already .... what will our offense look like....promise Kirby and Jim

Will go to great lengths to sell ....we are going to run the ball like always

Yada yada..... me thinks a new cook in the kitchen will add a few

Tweaks....hmmmm

Heads have already...labeled game three as the season for both
Teams....happy to have this at Sanford rather than South Bend..

Who will be our starting center in 2019? Lamont Gaillard was "actually outstanding" when he moved into the center position. Came to Georgia as a defensive lineman, was moved around a lot by the previous coaches, did not expect to see Lamont end up being our starting center, at that point. Goes to show what solid coaching and player "want to" can do. Gaillard will be drafted in my opinion. Not high, but will end up doing just as he did while in Athens . . . . working his butt off and making some NFL team glad that they chose him. High fives to you Gaillard, impressed the heck out of me and some others that I know. Damn Good Dawg!

Not sure many understand just how good Lamant Galliard really was. We've had a history of some pretty good centers here, and LG might end up being seen as the best
one of them all. Rarely heard his name mentioned.... because he rarely made mistakes. As much as talk about the progress of our OL and the work of Sam Pittman; it was this DGD that was the QB of that line and time and time again his pre-snap reads led to a calling out of the proper protection. Also his identification of the blocking schemes was almost always right on with what the QB was seeing... not very often those two men were seeing something different amd that gave Fromm the time to almost always check into the right play.

All sorts of subtleties between the QB and Center that your average fan who never played don't know about. That center is much more than just the guy that hikes the ball.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Coach O at LSU said #53 was the best center he ever saw. No qualifier, no hedging.
