GAME DAY: SUGAR BOWL TEXAS LONGHORNS VS GEORGIA BULLDOGS

I am not going to make assumptions about others feelings regarding this game. I will take everyone at the word. I would however venture a guess that had we won there are some people in Dawg nation who now say "didn't care" and "doesn't matter" that would be talking about:

Recruiting benefits...
Showing the selection committee...
Proving to the nation....
Momentum for next year...
Seniors out on a high note instead of out on consecutive losses...
Etc etc

I'm not directing that at anyone specific here.. I've heard "don't care" in other places today, but I truly believe that some in Dawg nation saying that would have been talking about the victory today had it happened.

Had coffee with a diehard dawgs fan... this afternoon his observations .....

Look what happened last year to Auburn after losing to us

In the SECCG..... horrible outing in their bowl game against UCF

Fast forward to last night....Different teams same results..

Much as with everything else... college football with the CFP..

Has changed the landscape... most of us here are viewing the game

Oddly, the game put me off balance in my thinking.

Brain says... CKS knows what is going on at all times. Then says but what about the Sugar Bowl.

If you're not fired up about the Sugar Bowl, you don't belong in Athens, wearing the Red & Black. From what I saw on January 1st, we have the wrong kind of person playing football for UGA. Forget the stars beside the name and look more at the heart and soul of the player. A bunch of gifted, but weak minded whiners, will not get it done when the pressure is on high.
