yd1, more and more we see the "old guard" hanging on by their fingernails. Athletes have changed and the recruiting process needs/needed to be taken over by coaches like McGee, one of the reasons that Clemson vaulted quickly to where they are now. Think I have said this before, if not . . . . McGee and Coley, either one can make needed changes on the offensive side of the ball. Not recruiting alone, calling plays and formations. McGee is a strong recruiter, that will not change. Coley, a great hire for UGA. One of the very best recruiters and coaches in Florida. Have said before that I am concerned that Coley will leave for "better offers". Would not blame him . . . . wish that the current coaching staff (leaders) recognized what a "talent" Coley is. Have pasted this before, one more time should be ok.

It's coaching. That's the season. If Kirby et al can do their part, it's a good year. At some point, all the pieces have to come together, and I'm hopeful that we're there. Coaching makes or breaks this season.
