Many grew up not knowing what happened to our football team yd1. VD was blessed with #34, not much more was needed. Never, ever will I accept the way VD moved past Erk. Bet this . . . . If Erk could "start" a program that did not have the where with all, for damn sure he could have improved on what VD could not do. VD knew that Erk was head and shoulders above him, never liked the fact that Erk had the players respect. VD was always aware of the "press" and when they would visit Athens, it was "show time" for VD. Yep, VD also knew how the "system" worked with the "good old boys". He was one of them, no doubt he can speak to McGarity also belonging to the group that sits on the Row. VD always knew how to play "both sides". Still doing the same.

Greg McGarity should never have been hired. As for McGarity being all that while serving Foley in Florida . . . . why would he not be offered or even considered for the job? Many years in Athens under VD and many years as number two in Florida. Now many FANS understand the truth. Over one half million dollars a year . . . . FOR WHAT? Check McGarity's accomplishments since 2010. Impressive, you decide.

Come to the conclusion......VD had HW......Cheesetick had CN.....each had one Natty..

Cheestick was sent packing early when he couldn't produce.... VD.... was given the AD job and

a golden parachute........ firmly believe the good old boys have kept us wandering for to long..

Passing out crumbs to the loyal fan base.....pat us on the head...wait until next year....raise ticket

Prices..... build another vault to hold their treasures...... sad......

Question.....can we win in spite of the Row......??? Damn sure haven't been successful with them

There are a few on this board that understand what has happened over many years. Understandable that many on this board and other boards that do not, or have not been "aware" of our past.

Simply looking for positive change, and I would like for the positive change to start in 2017.

This has been said by many several times . . . . UGA Football has always had talent "wearing the cleats", that is if they were players. Coaches wear cleats also. Just saying.
