Good Morning All,

Spring ball continues….. along with it talking heads making crystal ball readings on player and coaches…..

M & M again predict Georgia to win the east….. Some Heads dancing praises for JE and others calling him overrated….. covering
all their bases…..

IMHO…… we seem to be more focused and tending to business at a higher level than recent past spring practices….. for the lack of better words more organized….. players speaking out that position drill work showing improvement with each passing practice….. a very good thing.

Several posters have noted that they wanted to see a more mature #7.

Thus far LC has stepped up his leadership …. Looking lean and stronger with added speed….. excellent news for our defense…..

Back to JE….. v2.0…… cut his hair….. pushed is nose into the playbook understands college ball…. Is way different than HS…. Doesn’t hurt to have Jake pushing him…. Fact is JF is next man up at QB….. I see him getting meaningful game snaps……

Mother Nature chuckled…… cool overnight temps last two nights in the 40’s…..

Pause and give thanks

Have a great weekend and a safe week

As always “ Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

yankeedawg1, this statement allowed me to "peel back the onion" as you some times post . . . .

Takes me back to Coach Jeremy Pruitt . . . . again.

Carter with all of the talent that he was blessed with, had one serious problem . . . . The coaching staff at Georgia and Alabama was different when Carter and Pruitt arrived, even though Pruitt came to us from FSU. Hard to remove the lessons learned in Tuscaloosa. Pruitt showed Carter where the bench or sideline was. Pruitt was doing nothing more than getting LC's attention. He did that for sure. If LC thought or thinks that it will be any different under his defensive coaches now with the recent turnover, he is seriously wrong. Good college coaches are no different than solid NFL coaches. They understand the "history" of the player(s).

There is/was a major turnover in the way defense is going to be played in the Classic City and I believe the majority of that change came the day Jeremy Pruitt arrived in Athens. What Pruitt did to change UGA Football is now being used by a group of coaches in Miami. Truth.

Would like to see Kirby Smart stop using the words when describing practice and players as, "them and us". Kirby is new as a head coach, more "lessons" he needs to learn, more to college football than practice or closed practice. Words count.

Agree Buc..... HC just as much as his players had/has a learning curve on so many fronts...

Much was made about us hiring a rookie HC....... we hired CKS..... heart first...... loads of coaches out there

With ability to coach college football..... very short list that bleeds the red and black...and who had the mentorship

Of CNS....... and played for Georgia....... and can recruit to his level...... know you know what trim tabs on a boat

Are and what there used for...... HC is bumping our football programs tabs..... process......

Go Dawgs!

Sincerely hope that Kirby will use his "trim tabs" to "level" our program out yd1.

2017 is such a huge year, me thinks. Talent arrived. Understanding that the 2017 group wants to produce.

2013 group sounded a lot like the 2017 young men. Here is hoping that this group of coaches can and will recognize the talent and do just exactly what they (coaches) were hired for . . . . nope, not to save McGarity's job, put a team on the field that is coached to play "four quarters". That has been missing forever. Check last years program. Facts do not lie.

Call it excuses..reasons.....bad luck..... truly believe that CKS....understands the frustration that

Georgia fans have experienced....... with the lack of a competitive program......

Anyone think that HC and staff took the winter off..??

Last year rookie HC and QB.....

Year two...... both ....... focused on improvements.........

Go Dawgs.....

Really believe from what I have seen and heard in the last few weeks that our new HC is beginning to get the hang of it,but agree with Buc that HC would be better off using the term US when discussing all facets of the team. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GATA

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day
