Truthfully not trying to "stir the pot" . . . . but
When my head coach creates a paragraph like the one that I copied and pasted below . . . . Coach Smart you are not talking to folks that do not understand football. Not everyone that played the game, or had a Dad that coached the game in high school, is that "far advanced" over some that are members of this board (Dawgs.com) and did play the game and have coached the game. Having been a part of the Red and Black "many" years, will speak to what I "think" I "see".
“We don’t look for blame,” Smart said. “It’s a team game, guys. Sony [Michel] and Nick Chubb are as good as team players there are anywhere in this country. Those two kids love that offensive line and appreciate what they do for them.”
Read every word that you said above . . . . leaves the "unanswered question" . . . .
Why did our two outstanding running backs have to walk into our Offensive Coordinator's office and ask . . . . "why".
Have tried to be "silent" for a while . . . . those days are over.
When I see 70 or so traveling football players on the road and I read the above, ain't gonna work.
This old dawg does not have to or want to have another BS'er running our program without full knowledge of SEC FOOTBALL.
Coach Smart, choose your words "wisely". At this point in time there is only one "Coach Saban".
Do not think that everyone outside the city limits of Athens, Georgia is/are not aware of "what we see".
Might be or might not be on the three year program after reading recent comments Kirby.
Georgia/Kentucky 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Channel. Thanks M&M.
