MONDAY MORNING BYE WEEK

This week will probably be filled with the I told you so's unless I miss my guess. I just hope that the team and Coaches have a thick skin, they're going to need it before we go to JAX and the Gaytors.

I'm just hoping Kirby is coaching them up for some gaytor tail.

It would be nice to blow the doors off of my most hated team ever.

Hope I am very wrong but I have a bad feeling about the UGA vs UF game. I have a feeling it could get ugly... Really ugly. I would not be surprised if we get blown out by 21 points.... Or more. To be fair, I do not think UF has been truly tested but they have a solid D and an O that can get it done. I would not be surprised if their D either scores 7 points and puts their O in a short field that allows their O to score 14 points or more. Let's not forget about their special teams... And our Special teams.... Another 7 points for the Gators.

Like I said, I hope I am wrong. I really do but I have watched too many UGA vs UF games over the past 27 years. Yes, I am old. Kirby and the coaching staff have a whale of a job to prep us for UF. I don't envy them.

Right now we have what we have, hope coaches can get them up for this game, keep the finger in the dam.

I don't see a gator blowout. They are a good team, but could not handle TN, and have had a "Nichols game" or two of their own. Really depends on which UGA team shows up. Running game or not? Eason on, or confused? Dropped balls or catches? D swarming or just missing sacks? Kickoff and punt coverage?

This team has proven that it can play ball with all but the great teams, but can also play down in the sand lot with the also rans. Performance vs UF will be a reflection of coaching and leadership among the players. If we come out flat, they failed. If we fight for four quarters, that's all we can ask.

At this point, keep pushing depth chart and find the players that want to play. Go from there. If nothing else, it tells recruits what to expect.
