The D has not set the edge all game. Can't lay it all at Lamberts feet and I won't

Ummm.. I think UNC has caught up to the 1st down run up the middle.

It's very evident that the mode of operation of Kirby is to have long drives and wear them out.

The whole offense looks more fluid with Eason under center.

Special Teams has caused this problem, not really the defense. The defense could be better, but they've done an overall good job for their first game as a unit. I pray for the day we can find a kicker who can kick it into the end zone.

But the offense plays better when Eason is in the game.

Orgedawg is right, defense hasn't set the edge at all. Smart/tucker need to start making some adjustments.
