Hardened Georgia fan... You continue to miss the point
Why CKS has energized the Nation.... Has absolutely
Nothing to do with past and everything to do with the
Future.... KS will not be the last HC at Georgia...but while
He is at this point you have 93k to reasons to believe..
Something no other SEC coach has ever done regardless of tenure....
Life has no guarantees.... But CKS has a very high probability for success...
All this IMO ..... I understand you like to stir the pudding..
Has reached the point of being boring.... You were warned
Dawgs.com. Doesn't play games....
You have never to my memory have used these two words....
"Go Dawgs". Rest my case.....
Go Dawgs!

Many positive statements made by recruits that were in attendance. How many that will commit to the Red and Black, yet to be determined.
Just for "chuckles" . . . . Coach Kirby Smart copied what he learned from the MASTER . . . . Coach Nick Saban. Saban had requested that students and fans fill their stadium a while back, students and fans listened. Kirby was not so full of himself that he would not listen to what the "wise man" said and the results that followed proves "stubborn" will and did land Richt's butt in Miami . . . . "short term".
Bet this . . . . Smart remains as head coach in Athens longer than Richt does in Miami. Rumblings already.
Go Dawgs

Spent several days in South Florida over Mother's Day. Some conversations with folks down that way, and as the article you posted, Mark Richt will not be given the time span that he enjoyed in Athens.
My understanding is this . . . .
If Kirby Smart had not made himself available, Mark Richt would still be the head coach in Athens. Richt wanted to remain as the head coach at UGA. Think most of us know that once the Gamecocks offered Smart . . . . Richt was gone.
Problems facing Miami and their football program is not having a stadium that they can to point to as theirs. Another is a IPF that can be displayed. Richt is already chirping about a IPF, folks that want to win and win now, don't really want to hear what he needs. Many attached closely to the program mention that they had National Championships without the facilities.
Comes down to this as the article you posted mentioned . . . . and as Wartdawg has said for years . . . . No Excuses.
Don't mean this to be ugly thriller . . . . Mark Richt's time as Miami's head coach will be short term if he tries to copy what he thought was successful in the Classic City.
Talent in South Florida is incredible, year after year. No Excuses.
Go Dawgs, "Chuckles" to all . . . .

Great interview by Brandon Adams. Randy McMichael puts into perspective the reasons that you posted in this thread and you said what you said.
How often back in the day that many on this board discussed tight ends. Growl/DAWGtm are others that spoke about tight end play. Many others won't go into names, too many.
