While some might not find signing kickers and punters, along with long snappers a big deal, this old goat does.
Many times this has been said on Dawgs.com, and elsewhere "on occasion".
Want to win in the college football world, especially in the SEC . . . . better have a kicker and punter, along with a great long snapper. Lots of history to back that up.
Special Teams, Kirby Smart is focused on the "necessaries" and I believe that our Special Team play is going to be many times as good as it was prior to Smart and Company arriving in the Classic City.
Folks, Smart and Company are taking care of the "details". Not looking for the "stuff" that others have hung around Athens for. Yes, Smart and Company understand what has been "wrong" with the Red and Black, and they are showing with hires like the above young man that "details" do matter.
"Bleeding Hearts" will never understand what has happened in Athens with the hiring of Smart and Company, or care. Yes the Company part of Smart and Company shows the "maturity and wisdom" of the Smart part.
