He certainly deserves the opportunity to succeed as a starting QB.

Add this . . . . It was clear that the money was coming to an end for the head coach, so what does he do . . . takes the job at the "U" quickly, retains his 4 million dollar paydays at least another 5 years. Such a good man that understands the economics he is involved in.

That sums it up. Like winning games is happenstance you have no direct control over. The best you can do is earn the right to have things go your way.

I think most would say what you do is go out and MAKE things go your way with
your hard work. You take victory; you earn it and go grab it. You don't just "hope" it happens.

I think if you pay real close attention to what words people use and how they use them, you gain a lot of insight into how they really think.
