''This is a special opportunity for me to come back to the University of Alabama,'' Pruitt said. ''Growing up in the state and having played and coached here, I have a great appreciation for Alabama football. Coach Saban's success speaks for itself and I wouldn't be where I am today without the chance he gave me to join his staff back in 2007. We are excited to get back to Tuscaloosa and be a part of one of the outstanding programs in college athletics.''
Really appreciate what Jeremy Pruitt said on his return to Alabama. Not a single word against anything that happened either good or bad in Athens.
Pruitt, have to say this again, you were certainly appreciated by many on this board. Realize you had to step "out of the lines" but many on Dawgs.com admire you for "everything".
Yessir, you have a set of brassies, maybe now with Kirby Smart he will continue to be a "stand up guy/coach", of which I have no doubts.
I sincerely believe that Nick Saban knew he had "two (2) top notch coaches" and had to let the both of you run at your own pace. Nick Saban is all that in my mind. Appears Smart/Pruitt need to be on different teams, I say that after thinking about the futures of both.
Alabama is there, soon under Kirby Smart we will be a lot closer. Maybe sooner than some want to believe. Pruitt left some very good defensive players and a "attitude" that I really believe changed the scope of Georgia Football.
Go Dawgs . . . .
