Know this from Smart's press conference . . . . He will be hands on, "totally hands on". Seems to me that is the Coach Nick Saban way.

KS said when he scouted UGA before the game he flat out side we had no depth for the SEC. Period. KS also had the antidote: RECRUITING. He will tirelessly get it done.

Also said without saying that there were some areas that needed "attention". Thought that to be a serious comment. That is the reason I am so jacked about Kirby Smart. Pulls no punches. It is what it is.

Going to be some wars finally in the SEC East. Folks that understand the game, far more than the AJC beat writers, have been waiting much too long for this.

Wartdawg, you nailed it. Too many times Richt seemed to subconsciously let his players know it didn't really matter if UGA lost to Bama because "it's just another game".

Don't think that will be uttered in BM anytime soon.

Why do I have this strange feeling that we won't miss the "U" coach? Not being ugly, just pointing out facts.

Know the bleeding hearts out there will have something to say in the media about the downfall of the Red and Black with the current hire.

As has been said here often, by many that are posting in this thread, and watching posts everywhere . . . . those that have lived on saying that Richt leaves, we lose all of our current recruits . . . . you pick the year. Same "stuff" that has crippled us for more years than should have been allowed.
