I know this is a rhetorical question, but I want to answer it anyway....
HELL NO!!
I read a stupid article yesterday that listed the top 15 reasons to keep the pathetic loser, and #1 was, and I'm not joking, that he'd be coaching at South Carolina next year!!!!! I'm thinking, so? We'd get to keep our winning streak against the chickens going for sure in that case. Win- win in my opinion. That could be the #1 reason to get rid of him

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

Yes... all we did was beat a bad team.

I saw a headline yesterday that said something along the lines of UGA hushes the critics with a victory and it just made me sick.

Let's be honest here... the ONLY thing that changed yesterday was the quality of our opponent.

Our QB play was pretty much terrible.... against Kentucky. Our best plays were made without a QB behind the center.

Our offensive line play was okay in the running game, but pretty terrible against the pass.

Our special teams play is only graded as a C- because we didn't give up a blocked punt or a TD. I mean I swear to the heavens that if I'm playing UGA that I am going to pooch kick it every single time. 3+ years now and Richt still doesn't know what to about that. Plus we've taken another solid kicker and made him mediocre.

Nothing... NOTHING was any different other than the team on the other side of the line of scrimmage being pretty bad right now.

The only bright spot was our D, the leader of which has now been labeled "the problem".

Yet some of our loser mentality fans still call into radio shows and say that the problem is that we as fans expect too much, using as their justification the quality of the program 40 years ago.

Sorry, but this critic has not been and will not be "hushed" after looking very mediocre beating a bad team.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

averagedawg said . . . . All the pundits say that UGA is one of the top five most desirable places to coach.

Will agree with that. Money is real good . . . . chances of being released, next to none. VD how long? Mark Richt how long?

When I look over the salaries that are being paid to MR at this point, multiply a lot of that wage out over 15 years . . . . the recent extension, plus an additional $800,000 after keeping "his" record of bowl appearances, last being the Belk Bowl.

Good man has an eye for the "numbers". See the smile on his face yesterday, knows that he is once again "safe".

Richt is the "dean" of SEC coaches.
All his peers support him.
Why not?
They all know, no matter how bad they are, there's a 50 50 chance they can beat Georgia.

We all saw Murray's interview during the game.
I didn't detect much if any support for Richt.

When Richt gets on the hot seat, he deflects.
Aw shucks.

Then he resorts to stupid gimmicks.

His explanation for starting Bauta has to rank as one of the most bizarre episodes in college football.
Absolute stupidity.

He was never really called out on it.
Laughing on the way to the bank.

We are suckers.
He has no shame.

AM left campus twice so he could learn how to play the position correctly. That is the reason that he is in the NFL today.

Really pissed the combo of Richt/Bobo off.

Truth be told . . . . what has Mark Richt done with our quarterbacks over the years that has the "supporters" calling him a "quarterback guru"?
