When I look over the salaries that are being paid to MR at this point, multiply a lot of that wage out over 15 years . . . . the recent extension, plus an additional $800,000 after keeping "his" record of bowl appearances, last being the Belk Bowl.

Good man has an eye for the "numbers". See the smile on his face yesterday, knows that he is once again "safe".

The GayTors just won the East and are heading to Atl to play in the SEC ship with a first year coach and our coaches and some of our delusional fans are celebrating a victory over Kentucky!

True story, my CC was hacked and I had to call a rep yesterday to clear things up. We were small talking during the process and she heard the TV on and ask me who was playing. I said, Georgia and Kentucky just finished up. She said, who won. I said Georgia. She said, are you a fan of either team. I said, yea I'm a Dawgs fan. She said, congrats on the win. I said, thanks but it was a football game not basketball. She laughed her ass off!

Alabama Defensive Line humiliated Fournette.
Makes me appreciate Nick Chubb all the more.
Richt survives on the backs of these kids.

Beyond my pay grade, but it would be interesting to compare the images of Richt's and Kirby's on the sideline demeanors side by side.

All Georgia football needs is a jolt, a swift kick in the ass. We are relevant immediately.

averagedawg, read your last post, lead me to this. A bit longer than your comments, for sure.

Seems to me that it becomes even more evident just what coaching (successful coaching) is all about in the SEC, and elsewhere.

Alabama having some choices to make at the quarterback position last season, again this season. Faced with problems or uncertainty at quarterback, somehow they (Alabama) seem to always find their way to the National Championship or last year for instance, the Final Four.

Will always come back to why and what the team is prepared for, not short term, it is always a marathon in the SEC.

Nick Saban never spends a lot of time talking about quarterbacks and running backs, or any other position. To him that is in simple language, not for others, he and his assistants keep that within their confines. Another lesson that Saban learned under Belichick.

Nick Saban for years has done one thing and done it well, makes sure he and his assistants look for and sign offensive and defensive linemen.

Watched the game between Alabama and LSU. What I saw was offensive and defensive linemen controlling the game. Good things happen when both lines are up to Nick Saban standards.

Any of us that look back over the past 15 years, also can be done on the internet, very easy to see another shortcoming of a Mark Richt football team.

Mark Richt does not understand the “fundamentals” of SEC football. I say that based on “Mark Richt's” record in Athens. Will also say this. Those that are covering his backside are doing so because “they” don't understand what some on Dawgs.com do understand. They write and hold their “sacred” positions within Butts-Mehre, required by Cox and others. Easy enough for them to use their “space” in the media to “protect their space”. They do.

Jacob Eason might be all that on the Left Coast, but he has not played a game in the Southeast against high schools that send many on to the NFL. Simple reasoning, from where I sit.

Question or two.

If Jacob Eason had played for Georgia this season (2015) how well would he have done with an offensive line that has been shuffled around since that game? That game being in the past two or three.

Greyson Lambert looked great until . . . . Until what Buc . . . . Until he faced competition from teams coached by the likes of Nick Saban that understand offensive and defensive lines.

Folks, I saw a Auburn team that scares me for this reason . . . . They are improving, and their defense is light years in front of Kentucky. If we win, that will please me and I am sure the Public Relations Group.

What happens if we lose? Everyone that reads here, many that don't post, and many that belong to the media that scope this site out . . . . HAPPY FACES, AGAIN?

End with this. Bowl eligible my butt. When will “some” realize just how much that means to the media? We are 6-3, bowl eligible. How many ready to accept that we may again play in Shreveport or elsewhere? Sad fact, too many.

averagedawg, you and others along with myself understand that. Reading what those in the media have to say . . . . Eason will walk in and take the Red and Black to the same heights that the New England quarterback has done for that franchise.

Spending some time looking closely at our efforts to recruit offensive and defensive linemen. Conversation on that subject . . . . nada, zero, nil.

Butch Jones is heavily involved with doing just what Saban and Company are doing, have been doing in Tuscaloosa . . . . recruiting where it counts when the end of the football season ends, and wanting to move on . . . . offensive and defensive linemen.

Let's get down to the "nitty gritty" . . . . Mark Richt is all about the same things that brought Bobby Bowden and Mack Brown down . . . . Look pretty, smile for the media.

Want to change young folks lives, go to the ministry. College football, limited to 25 or so each year.

Carney, you are not fooling those that "have been in the arena". Some of us were not "second string".

Greyson Lambert your starting quarterback against Auburn? Silly me, why would I ask you that. You don't give out that type of information. MR you are only fooling those as you say . . . . "HAVE NOT BEEN IN THE ARENA". That would be 95% of those in the media that cover not only your butt, theirs also. Fact.
