Buc - comment you just made practically made my blood run ICE COLD. I'm an idiot for not noticing this, but you sure nailed it . . .

"Seems our University likes have ex-college quarterbacks at the helm. How has that worked out?"

WOW! You have to go all the way back to Johnny Griffith to find a NON-QB head coach!

That would tend to cut down on the pool of names. Great point, Buc.

sflanagan21 gets it right too, about Bauta. Give him some reps. He'll just get better, and then we can bring in Eason and have a typical freshman first year. Then Chubb is gone. The pattern of mediocrity continues.

Or we could bring in a new-head-of-steam head coach and elevate to the next level. A guy can dream.

PS- I would rather see Ramsey than Lambert that's for damn sure! I've seen all I want to see of Lambert! Also can we please start KM and let the kid run wild on the Cats, jeez everyone but Richt/Shotty can see he is more than ready.

We should, but we wont sflanigan... Bauta is probably back to 3rd string and KM will probably get 2 carries..

A few years ago before you were here, I made a comment about Richt having ulterior motives for who he starts and gives playing time to, and who he doesn't.

I'm not going to name names, but someone on this very sight called me out and said my dislike of Richt was making me say crazy things that just couldn't be true, and that there was no way that Richt wouldn't put the best team on the field who gave us the best chance of success.

I wonder if that person would say that now.,,(I already know the answer to the question is no  )
KM getting no playing time, Richt's motivations in choosing QB's... I can go on..

"Journalist my butt." Spot on Buc -- it's a PR machine not journalism.

Most media works that way these days. TV news is bleed then PR stunts the rest of the show.

Money, yes. Those without foresight to change will always try to hang on to what they have. They go down with the ship. Apparently they want to take the fans with them.

Just had lunch with a 1980's graduate. Successful attorney. He is skeptical about Richt leaving but in the same breath said if he looses Kentucky he will probably be gone.

Lots of work to get rid of MR. He works for the Row.

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

I think the defense is approximately 28th in the nation in scoring defense. Offense is 63rd in scoring offense. All things considered, I would say that is the LEAST of the team's problems.

So let's get rid of the DC because he hurt our feelings.

Keep up the facade.
It's not about winning.
That in itself makes us losers.
Totally disgusted with this joke of a program.

I sure hope that wasn't me, Wartdawg. I don't think it was. If it was, you can say so. And if it was, you are right. The answer would be "no". On the other hand, at this point, I'm not sure exactly WHAT Losers motivations are for picking a QB. It sure doesn't seem to be one of his "coaching strengths".

Edit: And if it WAS me, mea culpa. But it does NOT make sense for a coach to put someone other than the best athlete out on the field. That wouldn't make YOU crazy, Wartdawg . . . but it sure would make that COACH crazy.
