From Athens-Game Day Friday # 9

Good Morning All,

Weather this week in the Classic City..rain…cold….dreary…..

Perfect match for the mood surrounding our football program.

Game day Friday #9….. Wildcats…. Dawgs by 16 now down to 12

I think I will drink whatever Vegas is sipping….. it has taken us two games to match that number….. Sickly is being kind….when speaking about our offensive offense…. Well it is Kentucky and we are home….just maybe a win….

From the back of the food truck……. Did you ever take the top of a jug of milk and stick your nose real close and take a deep breath????
You were checking to see if the milk had soured…..remember that smell? Didn’t have to check it twice…. You also knew the only course of action was dumping it down the sink and get a fresh jug and move on.

It is exactly my feeling about what needs to be done with our HC.

I can tell you when I first felt that we were on a slippery slope… the mess in Memphis.

This was a flat out embarrassment and a major cluster fubar…what was said after the game by our HC …..and lack of corrective action was a harbinger of our future….

I agree that the solution is above Scrooge….. I have no clue who lurks in the shadows pulling the money strings….

IMO don’t see anything happening before the end of the season….

There is a great deal of money in play both inside and outside our program…. Old saying in politics and business…..nothing happens until the money gets right….. it is the same with college football in 2015…

Stay tuned…… drama starts at noon Saturday…..

I've got 100 things to be thankful for....

UGA football isn't one of them, unfortunately.

I've heard that several times in the last five years, and have come to realize that it is a very true statement. I'm still waiting, but with every minute I know the time is nearer, so as always, Go Dawgs!!!!!!!!!!

There is a lot to be commented on in this latest edition.

Chatter like the above in italics comes with time in grade, usually.

I worry abut the Kentucky team. They will come to play, regardless of the outcome, they have a head coach that is going to, and already has put some spirit back into their program.

Kentucky has to work hard to recruit their football players, not so with the round ball team.

They have caught us off guard since our present head coach has been here. Won't go too deeply into that.

University of Georgia, Red and Black, Silver Britches, playing this game at 12 noon on Saturday. Tennessee plays at four. Leave it at that . . . . for now.

Veterans Day 11/11/2015. Damn right it should be a holiday.

Truly don't believe we can cover the spread. Kentucky smells blood in the water guaranteed their coach will have them in a feeding frenzy. Could get nasty in the classic city and I don't mean the weather.

I can see Pruitt kicking Schottenheimer's ass.
