My prediction going by CMR's mindset...

FB starts, does REALLY well and possibly beats Florida :woohoo:

Then coming back home next week CMR decides to go back with GL
the rest of the way.

Both Ramsey and Bauta transfer. Bauta ends up at Auburn because he's
"perfect" for Malzahn's anemic offense.

I know this sounds far fetched, but hey anything can happen in the mind of CMR.

Fellows I'm freaking pumped up right now! I'm excited to finally see Bauta get the opportunity to showcase his skills. A lot of my friends are really nervous for him and the game but I have a feeling he won't let the team or the fans down. I also believe there is so much respect for him from everyone on the team that they are all going to be playing lights out. I've heard the term "spark" being tossed around with starting Bauta. Every team in every sport at every level needs a "spark plug" and we haven't had a "spark plug" that I can see on this team since AM left. Bauta may come out a little erratic and overly amped initially but that adrenaline will wear off soon enough and I think we will be pleased with our new QB.

Honestly I don't care how starting Bauta makes richt look good or bad. I just want to see the hardest working kid on the team get his shot!

My prediction of the GayTors beating us has obviously changed...

I can totally see Murray mentoring Bauta this week.
This team needs a leader.

SF21, I'm with you ! I'm as giddy as a school girl about FB starting. I do expect him to be amped up and have an adrenalin rush to start with, but once he settles in LOOK OUT !!!

Over optimistic? Probably ;) But I believe FB is setting out to prove a point.

Now whether the point is recognized or not remains to be seen.

Only richt/shotty know the "true" game plan for the GayTors on Sat but I just can't see them not giving Bauta a solid shot to prove himself. That was really hard for me to type and to convince myself of but I just have to think at this point they have NO choice but to turn Bauta loose. Lambert hasn't changed from what we saw at VA so they know what they are going to get from him. Ramsey, well he maybe more shaky than Lambert but the verdict is still out I guess. Bauta has done everything right from the day he stepped on campus and no one is more prepared than he is so to me it makes sense to have a successful game plan set up for him and to allow him to get into his rhythm.

There are a lot of bad scenarios out there but I don't want to think about them. I think Bauta is ready and more than capable of getting the team a W with all of the talent he is surrounded by! I have no idea the game plan with Bauta but I'm guessing he is going to be in shot gun and we will see a lot of read option, dinks to our TE's, screens to speedsters and quick slants and outs. He isn't the fastest QB in the Nation but he will extend the play with his legs and if no one is open he will get those 3-5 needed tough yards. One thing that is certain is that the Fla D will have to play a lot more alert, fast and disciplined with Bauta at the helm.

Our boys will be hyped to play for Bauta and that maybe all we need to get a W...

Fellows, going against what some think.

If the offensive line puts their pads on the gators, Faton will be as cool as one can be. Never will they rattle this young man. My hope is that our offensive gurus don't mess with Bauta.

Heaven forbid that Faton Bauta spins a 40 yard pass to Malcolm Mitchell being covered by the gators best. That will answer a lot of the dumb spit that has passed our way for far too long.

My single biggest concern right now is the center snap. That is incredibly important in a game like this.

Everyone does their job, Faton Bauta will do his, and more.

Crazy pumped right now. Will be with some folks in South Florida this weekend, Sony Michel and Isaiah McKenzie's territory, Plantation, Florida.
