Good Morning All,

It has been an interesting two weeks here in our little corner of the cyber world.

There was no slow down as we continued to smother-cover-chunk and dice our HC and OC… the AD and the Row tossed in for drill.

Game day Friday #8…… Cocktails on the St.Johns……

What possibly can be added…..we enter the game as an underdog…. …… rereading the posts here from the past two weeks we are in for another embarrassment? Better talent again losing to better coaching…… same song same verse….. After all the Cubs wet the bed and now their fans have to wait at least 108 years before playing in another WS.

Think how a 107 year old shirt or hat looks…… “Holy Cow”

Choir says if CMR is still the HC the Cubs will win a WS before we win another NC…… that race is fixed as we know that CMR will never win a NC…..hmmmmmm

Take the Cubs winning a WS in five years…..maybe….

Wait until next year!!! It gets sung in baseball ….. Hell for laughs I am going to watch the football game in JAX….. might even cheer but not wildly….. as the Grinch named Richt has ruined our football program…

From the back of the food truck…… the underlying message that seemed to be in the majority of the posts here …. As long as CMR is our HC we will never win anything worth noting…… even if by the luck like a blind squirrel finding a nut….. it will be meaningless as the pass 15 years of Richting would still overshadow and trump any accidental successes we might have…..

As Buc correctly pointed out which he does with a great regularity…….

There will be a great amount of bloviating about our football program no matter who wins the game…… Sunday will be only survived with liberal amounts of adults beverages…….readily available…..and consumed…..

Now about watching the game….. damn skippy I will be watching and cheering loudly…. Excellent opportunity for Jenkins and Floyd to show why they came back for their senior year……is Carter still on our teams?? Time to man up puppies!!!

It was the Old Ball Sack who quit to save his coaching a## from ever having a losing season…. No quit in this Dawg…..

Many months ago….. learn to win in spite of who is coaching

In it for the players who show up……and play the game!!!

Old News……. Nike and Texas Longhorns sign a 20 Million dollar endorsement deal… Money in college football just took another bump upward….. the other players at the table won’t back down they will stay and raise…..fact

Pause and give thanks

Have a great weekend and a safe week

As always “Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

sflanagan21, remember well what you had to say about Jacob Park. From the beginning . . . . YOU sounded off on JP and his talents. Anyone that watches his videos understands that your eyes did not deceive you.

Say again, the "brotherhood" in Athens has only changed "names". 2014 it was R/B, 2015 it is R/S. Only change in the offensive game plan . . . . initials.

Get all of the strong armed quarterbacks we want, or they want. If we want to win on a higher level, check what has happened in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Offensive and defensive lines. They can "slip by" with a quarterback that needs tutoring.

Saturday we face off with the gators, new head coach, new coaching staff. Same roster of players that had a hard time finding bodies to scrimmage in the Spring and Fall.

Want someone to say to me that we don't have "equal player talent" in Athens. Not for an argument, just a realistic look at where we are in 2015. If you haven't checked the names on the UGA Roster. Mind boggling. They SIT.

Not going to be nice. Take "next year" and stick it where the Sun does not shine. We have as much talent if not more than the gators. Where are we lacking? Loaded question, I will answer. Mark Richt all the way to the TOP. Bet this . . . . there will be more "chatter" about what I just said, but . . . . I did not start this. Started somewhere around 2005/2006/2007/2008 and we are right back in the same "spit" AGAIN.

DAWGtm, really glad to see you again. Great respect for you my friend. Hope that while in your recliner something good happens for those of us that care, care more than those that think we don't understand what sadlerdawg said years ago . . . . something about "arena participation".

This old Dawg will pull for every inch of turf that our young men wearing the Red and Black can capitalize on. Anyone that thinks it is bad to lose to the gators, stay the hell away from Florida if they win . . . . for a year, not a pleasant place. Florida is not a State for those of us that remember what has happened under the "Mark Richt Way". He refers to it as the "Georgia Way".

wlayton said it best. Good man, no D1 coaching skills. Something like that.

If we can't move the chains, not going to be a pretty picture. Long drive for many after the game heading North. Many will be driving South, many here are aware of the lack of coaching leadership.

Enough said, yankeedawg1, you my friend are appreciated.

Pulled the paragraph below from another thread. I read like many others what Disney has to say about UGA. Seldom does any writer, especially a "staff writer" step out and say what this young man did.

But more troubling than the 38-10 loss was the reaction in the locker room afterward. If anyone was upset, there wasn’t any sign of it. Richt was placid in his postgame comments and players looked more resigned than frustrated. Championship-caliber teams would have been upset and determined to come back stronger. But there was none of that from Georgia, which turned around the following week and blew a 21-point lead to lose to unranked Tennessee.

99% of what the staff writer said above has been spoken to and about on Dawgs. com for . . . . get past counting the fingers and toes, for many years.

Reason enough for those that believe what is said above when entering this site . . . .

Dawgs.com Dawg Talk by seasoned Georgia Bulldog Fans

Site and posts come and go, Dawgs.com remains, open for quality conversation, accepting newcomers that have found their way to a "real UGA board".

Going back to the italicized paragraph. Probably not more than x amount of times has it been posted here that our football team "has" taken on the "flavor" of our head coach.

It is what it is, and there is one board that has the brassies to speak out as the young staff writer did for ESPN, M&M, DISNEY.

YD1 always enjoy reading your posts thanks. Buc as you say CMR is a great carney their talk is usually a lot better than what you find inside the tent. I've had two weeks to get over the way we lost two games and even how we one the last but I still have a bad taste in my mouth. I can tell you this if you compete in anything in life and it doesn't make you mad if you lose then you have no business playing. Don't blame the players they are just kids doing what they've been taught. But CMR not going anywhere he could sell ice cubes to Eskimo's. There is always next year.

Yes.. and what they are taught from day 1 by Richt is that there are more important things than winning, everyone gets a participation trophy, you need to redirect your enthusiasm, and what really matters is that he loves you because you're an awesome person.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Growing up a long time ago playing sports, I had friends until we were competing for a position. Care less about the sport, to me it was competition. Know there are many here that played and acted that way.

One of the things that makes this board what it is. Sometimes we compete on different subjects, seem to find a way to reality before it is cut and dried, most of the time.

Realize that I probably criticize the press more than most here. Have my reasons. They are not competing like those of us that post here, trying to have our voices heard. Too many work for the "man" and there is only one way . . . . "the man's way". Job security too often is determined by how far someone in the press can get their nose somewhere. Leave that alone.

Have to say this . . . . Looking forward to Faton "Noodle Arm" Bauta starting for the Red and Black. Those that post and read here understand why I said that.
