thriller, for sure the Florida game is a "must". Have mentioned here a couple of times recently that Foley has found his man.
McIwain has changed a lot of things that were and were not going on with the gators.
urban meyer left a football team that was "totally" out of control. muschamp, plain and simply is not a head coach, does not have that "stuff" that successful head coaches have. He signed on with the program in a mess and he left it in a mess. Fact.
Much as I don't like saying this (again) the new head coach is making serious inroads into the vast amount of talent that the State of Florida has . . . . year after year.
I for one am glad that certain changes were made on our coaching staff, if they had not been made, we were in my mind in serious trouble. Thanks again Coach Will Friend. The changes that were made on our coaching staff can be traced to Will Friend, little argument there. Leave the rest alone.
Georgia Tech, we find out a lot more about them after the Notre Dame game. Paul Johnson is doing a lot with what many consider "lesser talent". Johnson was very successful at the Naval Academy, at Georgia Southern, and we all witnessed what coaching can and can not do under certain circumstances in 2014, in Athens no less.
The game tomorrow holds a lot of "things" in the balance of SEC East Football. Will not be a place for those that don't like war, and it will be just that, a war.
Talk beginning to circulate about Spurrier as the head coach. We lose in Athens tomorrow, there will be more talk than many want to hear in the State of Georgia. This 2015 game with South Carolina is going to be intense, maybe more so than previous years.
17 or 17.5 point spread . . . . not sure I buy into that. Would love to see double that.
Sure hope that depth pays dividends tomorrow.
