I hope I was wrong earlier about Lambert. He looked steady in this game. If he can take care of things and show that kind of leadership when it's 'bama, SS, or the gators, then I will freely admit that it was a great move by the staff. I was glad to see that he seemed to have the competitive situational awareness needed by any SEC QB. Also noticed that Ramsey did not look as lost Saturday as he did in the BB.
This could be a very exceptional team. If the QBs can play up to SEC defenses and if our D can do the same, we could give lots of problems to anyone we play. I like the matchup problems caused by JB at tight end, IM or SM or KM in the slot, and MM or TG out wide. Really mess with their minds and add Harris in a two tight end set, and watch the D try to figure out who is covering who.
Want to see an old-fashioned whupping next week. Make usc worry a little more.
