Monday Morning Like or Not . . . . Conversation Accepted or Not

Growl, hard for me to believe that Pruitt is "just" a Defensive Coordinator. He is much more than that and at some point it will prove to be one of the better hires in Athens.

yankeedawg1 mentions Pruitt and Sales having conversations, that is "team talk" not just position chatter. That same thing was going on with Pruitt and Friend. Lays the ground work for improved D1 football.

Dawg With Style, I encourage you to say whatever is on your mind. You made a statement or two in another thread that I read that impressed me. Never hurts to speak from the heart, although sometimes it is a tough thing to do.

DWS, never a doubt that Spurrier will cause problems for us. This year could be a bit different. Home field advantage, full house fan wise. Have not heard anything from Duck, concerned. If there was any way maybe Steve can dedicate the UGA/SC Game to Duck on this board. Just a thought.

Vanderbilt is going to line up and give us everything they have. I believe that the coach that is there now will bring Vandy back to respectability. For sure Franklin left the program in a mess. Found out that Temple was ready, not easily intimidated. Will be interesting to see the end results for the Penn State team this year.

Having some thoughts about Faton Bauta. Would not be surprised to see him move on. Kind of late as he is a Junior, but he loves playing football. Say again, wish he had moved over to the defense, would have been a great linebacker. Don't see him calling signals for Georgia.

Read that Georgia is a 20 point pick against Vandy.

Fully expect the first team offensive line to spend a lot of the game on the field. New center and quarterback have to get the line sets down pat.

Watched Kublanow and he looked really good against ULM. Much stiffer competition coming down the road.

Unless the bottom falls out, Lambert "is" the quarterback for Georgia this season. Read a comment from Ramsey and it did not sound like he was real happy with the pecking order. That is to be expected, he is a competitor. Eason coming in next season, quarterback position in Athens is locked up it appears.

yankeedawg1, it is often mentioned that the quarterback is one play away, truth.

That is another reason that I had and have regard for AM. He took some "serious shots" while in Athens, but always managed to pick himself up and continue. Special young man and he will be a huge help to Georgia down the road.
