Will this type of S&C work or improve our stance in the SEC?

One thing for certain DWS. . . . Athens has not seen anything like this before. Call Hocke a clone or whatever . . . . ever wonder how Hocke found his way to Athens?

Believe this . . . . Mark Hocke is another coach on our staff that is going to make "changes". He will step up, just as Jeremy Pruitt did when speaking about recruiting and "facilities".

McGarity, how are the plans coming along for the Indoor Practice Facility? Maybe I will ask that question again in about 6 months, don't want you to get into a big rush.

Folks in Florida are really excited about their Indoor Practice Facility, which by the way is underway.

While it's true that Todd Gurley was a 4 star (eventually), maybe a better example would be Aaron Rodgers. 3 stars (you can still find it on Rivals). Roquan may be the next Mike Singletary, but I doubt it. The odds are against that. Aaron Rodgers success speaks for itself. Another example I'll give of "stars" not really justifying a scholarship, while a complete lack of "stars" deserved it - would you rather see a "5 star" guy like Jaspar Sanks get a scholarship instead of a "0 star" guy like Richard Tardits?

Roquan could wind up being "all that", and if he chooses Georgia, that's fine with me - nothing against the kid taking care of himself. However, not signing an LOI is the equivalent of saying, "I'm so good that you'll MAKE a roster spot for me at the time of MY choosing". Maybe so, Roquan, maybe so. And maybe NOT. Better get in somewhere before spring ball starts up and the next Richard Tardits or Brendan Douglas shows the coaches what he's got and removes the risk of signing a potential 4 star bust.

I think we are all on pretty much the same page - good comments as usual, NC_Dawg!

thriller, appears to me that we are going to have a "face off" with young men that will have an effect on some fans that only "follow the stars".

One recruiting "ploy" has been the same for ages. Living room is the final shot at turning a recruit in a particular college direction. Goes something like this . . . . we have two spots open on the offensive line, one player currently being recruited is believed to be taking one of the spots. Would love to have you become a part of our team and block for running backs the likes of Chubb, Michel and others. Appears to us that the final spot will be decided this recruiting season on the next commitment.

Other side of that coin . . . . if the recruiting team for any university knows that there is "also" a player out there that could possibly sign later on . . . . there will be a "shift" somewhere on the team. Keeping this in mind . . . . Head coaches remain head coaches when they win football games. Only head coaches moving to another address are those that either are not winning, or there is a money offer too good to refuse.

Example of trying to keep winning coaches . . . . Jeremy Pruitt moved to 1.3 million from a base salary of 850,000.

thriller another point about Aaron Rodgers. Sat and waited his turn. Media hyped high school players this day and time do not believe they have to learn from others, they have everything. Maybe like Jasper Sanks you mentioned above.
