To me that's my role as a football strength and conditioning coach: Always being in your head and making sure your attitude and your confidence is top-notch. To me, that's my role to make sure that the guys when they show up on fight night -- on Saturday night between the hedges -- that they're ready to play and that their confidence is sky-high.

"To me the whole philosophy is no matter if it's a lift, no matter if it's a run, attention to detail is important, but also the amount of effort, the amount of energy and the workload to make sure they have the confidence to make sure they feel like they've outworked the entire country."

Hocke came to Georgia's staff after serving as an assistant under Scott Cochran at Alabama, and comparisons have been made between the two when it comes to energy and enthusiasm.

Among Hocke's sayings already: "Train hard, fight easy," and "Pound on the 'G'"

Harris the next tight end up will be wearing 88 Lynch old number lynch tweeted do it proud I think Harris will.

My philosophy has always been to take care of everything YOU can control because there are too many variables that you can't control....

1. physical conditioning
2. diet and hydration
3. film study/instruction
4. sleep/rest
5. attitude
6. work ethic
7. even equipment (make sure it's perfect)
8. school work
9 off field disciplines

Take care of all these things where you only have to focus on what to do on the field.....everything else has been prepared before hand.

DWS, have really liked Jackson Harris from the beginning. Said he was going to play football for Georgia and has not wavered.

Jones has put together a real good group of players that are going to make Tennessee respectable again. Know they wanted Harris, but Jackson gave his word and he seems to be well grounded.

Really like Jackson Harris and Jeb Blazevich rooming together. Think that is right.

Something else that I really appreciate. Went South and spent some time with folks that I enjoy talking to and with. Did not come on the board and post, was curious as to who would have something to say now that the LOI's are in. I blabber enough, come up and read what you have to say and pointing out a good link. Had not seen the link, like I said, trying to avoid some UGA stuff and pick up what others have to say and think.

Seems to me that what is going on in Athens is what I would refer to as a "changing of the seasons". Always looked forward to the leaves changing in North Georgia, a beautiful site. Think maybe Hocke fits in with "changing" also. Stacy, this has been needed for a long time, time for young blood to move in and make their presence felt. Changing of the guard, nothing new, just a proven way of "improving".

Buc I respect you being in the writer reporter business it's hard to find info or things to talk about during the off season.

But I'm happy that nobody getting arrested riding scooters.

Maybe just maybe commit to the G is getting through.
