Buc, Mike Bianchi use to have is own radio show here in Jax that I listened to every day. He called things like they really are and took zero flak from fans or callers. Actually a little stubborn sometimes on things and a little arrogant.....but his show was exceptional and entertaining.

He knows pro football much better than college football imo.

wlayton, you described Mike Bianchi perfectly. Mike and urban clashed in their first meeting, urban thinking he could do to Bianchi what he was doing to others . . . . Not.

Truthfully, watching some of the pressers at Butts-Mehre, just appears to be staged for the most part. Will stop there.

This is just my VHO but I think the time for passes is over.And I hate having the attitude of we must win it all for it to be a successful season but that is where I'm at. For far to long talent has resided in Athens for them to be under coached. Don't get me wrong I know we can't win them all but how we loose the ones we loose is what sticks in my craw.Now there has been a group of coaches assembled that I think gets how things are done. When Bama rolls into town we should be able to compete and win but will we is the question. SEC championship and playing for the NC might earn a pass but less than that will not. But all in all it doesn't matter what us outside the arena feel "10" wins is the magic number to make everyone happy don't you know.

Well Bmac and Rocker got a title change:


defensive line coach Tracy Rocker now has the title of associate head coach, while running backs coach and recruiting coordinator Bryan McClendon will now carry the title of assistant head coach.

That's according to a UGA announcement Monday.

UGA did not make available new salary figures for each coach, though it's expected the new titles will ultimately carry a raise for each.

DWS, same approach McGarity took the last time when he under paid Bryan McClendon. Gave him a business card . . . . different title.

Two outstanding coaches and recruiters, McClendon and Rocker. McGarity doing what he does best . . . . hesitates.

Show me the numbers, sir. How much are the ticket sales and other UGA paraphernalia worth that carry the names of Gurley, AM, Chubb, Michel and many others worth? Bryan McClendon is personally responsible for many millions going into the vault.

Public Relations department ready to release news on the Indoor Practice Facility yet? Next round of press releases, right. Realize that the "big donors" will get the news first, then it will be released to those that don't rate that high.

Many state and federal positions have caps on how much you can bump with a raise

Most common way around that is whip up a title and get a pay scale assigned and off you go

Would think when the smoke clears we will have cleared up the wide margins of difference in coaches pay
