You make a very good point sadlerdawg.
While there might be, probably is a lot of "stuff" that no one wants to hear . . . . how does one get better if we don't listen.
Have always had a problem with those in a position of trust that blow honest talk away.
If I am the head coach at the University of Georgia, or the athletic director, what better way to evaluate ones performance than reading what others have to say. Sure, some is garbage, but putting ones head in the sand is worse than those that continually throw garbage.
Have found the following to be true in many instances in my life. Those above the masses that high five and pat on the back, usually are doing "real well" in their lives. Has been referred to on this board more than many others as . . . . being comfortable.
If any head football coach states that they don't participate on the internet, whether just reading or going a step further, that is a closed mind. Too busy, I say BS. Anyone notice that Lilly posted on the internet his agreement with Schottenheimer being hired as the offensive coordinator? I don't like rooms that have no Sunshine. One remains in Athens, yes the Classic City. Coaches "tweet" but don't go any further than that . . . . right?
yd1, you and I are long enough in the tooth to understand "timely recognition".
