Thinking about what you have said Shannon.

This board is down to the brass tacks with the "stuff" that is going on in Athens. Did not start yesterday, some here have stepped up and called it as it is. One in particular that reminds me of you is DAWGtm.

Many folks here recognize what is going on. DAWGtm moved in my opinion in a first class way. Not one to "shine the apple" he watched, read and came away with a solid opinion . . . . his opinion. That did not happen overnight.

growl is another board member that I have great feelings for. He did the same thing in my opinion that DAWGtm did, watched, looked and listened. Chief makes up his mind, a leader. Said that and stand by that.

How do you feel about us looking at Roper from UF? Could be great, but I do know he wasn't able to "coach up" Driskel. What if Ramsey/Bauta/Park are just average and he can't coach them up?

Or is he awesome and just in a bad situation? Working under Cutcliff at Duke means something to me. Cutcliffe to me is a great football mind.

Thoughts anyone?

I would like to shake it up a little. I know you are not geting an OC Scott frost from Oregon to make a lateral move but it did impress me how they were literally running plays every 15 seconds. What if we rolled the dice on say an Oregon WR/or RB/or OL coach to promote to OC and he adds that to our offense? Oregon was calling their next play 2-3 seconds after the previous play ended.

That could wear out SEC defenses.

Just thinking here

Bulldog. Pulling Roper in for a interview means to me the field is open

Roper didn't have the tools he would have here. Duke liked to play up tempo.

He has experience workimg in a 2 QB system which brings a interesting twist

I hear the groans. CmR would never buy into that. But... what if CMR id looking back

At the benefits the Greene and Shock brought... it do cause problems for our opponents

Roper... WKY guy... Stanford's OC...

I just want somebody who is going to give the program the direction it needs in maintaining
an emphasis on the O-line and physicality.

Might be that the OL coach turns out to be the more critical appointment.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
