One thing that I feel "supports" some of the hype on Pruitt is the number of freshmen that he played last season for the National Championship team.
Might be luck, but one thing I do know. FSU has lots of talent on both sides of the ball and that is continuing with recruiting this season.
We needed coaches like the newly hired defensive bunch to come in and make some "serious noise". Don't see Pruitt/Rocker "coddling" anyone that plays defense.
Has been said before, the difference between a no-star and a five-star rests with those that "know so much" about college football talent.
Young men leave high school close to full development, others enter college and their development surpasses the BMOC types. Both mentally and physically. Witnessed that many times.
Real test will come on the offensive side of the ball without AM. No one supported AM more than I did, he deserved everything positive thrown in his direction.
Hutson Mason's turn. More than likely he will run the "same playbook".
Comes down to "want to" and that applies to both players and coaches.
yd1, going down and visit with Greg this morning. Always enjoyable sitting with a "South Georgia Stud" . . . .
Edit: Just read your post dawgs_fans-dad after my last post. Said many times and I could not agree more . . . . we have been a yo-yo team way too often. Coming from a different time than many that I read elsewhere, the "call to order" has been voiced by Pruitt.
