I have a feeling the D is going to be much improved, but the overall is still going to be the same old, same old. We'll play a couple much closer than they should be, lose one we should, and probably lose one or two that we shouldn't. I know you didn't want this to be on the coaches, but my prediction has to take the coaches into account. We'll show up uninspired for a couple, take our foot off the gas too early once or twice, or just plain come down to a coaching blunder at the end of the game.
I still don't think we have enough depth on the O-line, so regardless of Friend's coaching abilities, I'm not seeing much improvement there. Still hoping to see Bauta in a role larger than a wildcat once a game or in mop-up duty, but kinda doubting it. I hope I'm wrong, but while Pruitt is a great hire and will improve the D, the "king" hasn't changed so I don't really see the overall team dynamics changing much.
Buc, feel free to lock this away in the vault and bring it out if we make the final 4, because I will be glad to say I was mistaken.
The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!
