Feelings on Job Security

Tenure over talent.
A failure to adequately address known problems.
A failure too often to "finish the drill" when it comes to recruits.
Unbalanced recruiting.
Allows personal friendships and relationships to influence decisions. (Willie rules)
A constant lack of preparedness.
An incredible stubbornness.
A failure to shoulder personal responsibility for bad results.

Too many losses to inferior teams and a failure to win the SEC since 2005.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

The above post is one of the reasons that I remain faithful to this board. Cannot be said any better than the way Wartdawg put it. Good on you. One more move to be made in Athens, hopefully soon.

Edit: Wartdawg, this one goes into the "vault". :)

Talking about job security. Allow me this. Tracy Rucker comes on board today. Guys (and gals if there are any) how did this happen? Speaking about the defensive unit that appears to be coming together.

Anyone believe that richt put this "team together"? That is not being ugly. Asking a "straight up question" about how this group of defensive coaches made their way to Athens. Anyone believe that mark richt knew what the final outcome would be with the hiring of Pruitt?

Did mark richt know what the final outcome would be after hiring Jeremy Pruitt? Asking the same question again, and I say hell no.

If we want to see UGA move forward, first thing on the agenda is being true to what we have watched for 13/14 years and ask ourselves the "real questions".

Why did it take that much time to come up with the winning formula. Not that the winning formula has been found, but with mark richt in the background, it appears we are closer to what "we want", not what mark richt wants. Big statement there. Not what mark richt wants. He has fell flat on his face more times than most can count.

Shows what big money can do. Adams, you listening? Don't really have to bring Adams into this discussion, mark richt has reached his level, now he has to have the Pruitt's and others to make his mark in history at the University of Georgia. Actually has been more successful than VD, maybe he gets a statue on the campus also.

Folks several months back I said on this board that I am not going to get off of mark richt's butt. He could care less, but I do. See some on this board wavering, nothing wrong with that, just takes some longer to grow up and realize that richt is not the man.

I said that.

When CJP said he would address the Special Teams and his take No prisoner attitude I have not been surprised by one thing he has done and MR knows to stay out of his way.

I may sound like a broken record but I will say it again, NO way will we ever win a NC with CMR. YES I'm excited that we got CJP, Rocker and Sherrer but leadership starts at the top. Will our D be better, hell yea they will be! Our O maybe the most potent Offense in the Country BUT is Mason the man to lead it??? Ya see that's where I see the ship sinking, loyalty to Mason may just bite us in the rear end. Don't get me wrong I have nothing wrong with loyalty but you don't tell a kid that he is your man if he sticks around and waits for the starter (AM) to graduate. That is just straight out ludicrous in any sport! Now if CMR and CMB decide to open up the QB position then I may have to eat my words, cause if giving the shot then FB will straight up beat out Mason and with FB at the helm then I think the dynamics on our O change. My opinion is that HM will be our man and FB will never be a starter at UGA cause Ramsey is the type of QB that CMR and CMB are great at developing and then you have Park. I maybe way off but I feel like we are missing out on a very good college QB with FB, but I'm not sure CMR and CMB know how to coach him or what to do with him. Maybe they should call Meyer and ask him how he made Tebow work, Tebow and FB are cut from the same fabric, gritty ass WINNERS!
I hope I'm wrong and I hope we win us a NC in 15' and 16' under CMR but I just think it's gonna happen...

Richt thinks he's a General who is afraid of getting his hands dirty.
Stonewall Jackson he ain't.
