Time to look closer at the new defensive coordinator's known abilities. Thinking Pruitt will probably show more emotion on the sideline that you know who that likes to play with his microphone and game plan in the second half.
…it could be a very good recruiting staff,” said Farrell, who added that Pruitt should bring a more aggressive recruiting style when it comes to targeting players to fit what he likes to do schematically.
“They have to be aggressive. I think that’s one of the things that you need. They haven’t been as aggressive with some others, but I can tell you, on defense, Pruitt is going to be extremely aggressive. He can go anywhere and pull anybody,” Farrell said. “People look at Georgia and they say, ‘
Oh, Mark Richt is a nice guy, Georgia won’t go after kids with character question marks, grade issues,’” Farrell said. “But that’s not SEC, that’s not real world. I think they need to be a little more cutthroat and Pruitt is one of those guys who will do that. He’ll help fill out a staff.”
Did marc richt find another coach to do his "dirty work"? Seems a reasonable question from where I sit.
