LeMay signed on with us, and if you were like me, were very excited.
My understanding on LeMay leaving Athens is Faton Bauta moving up, and doing so fast. Why? Young man came from the Palm Beaches to play SEC Football. See now where his name is mentioned often around the other blogs. This board has been a promoter of Faton sooner than the others.
First off, he is a man, or as some like to say man/child. Keep reading a lot of copy about the new folks coming in at the quarterback position.
Faton Bauta does not back off from a challenge. He unlike LeMay has planted his butt in the film room and prepared himself to play on Saturdays. Some of you remember all of the talk on this board and others about AM. So, have never said this on our board. Eat damn crow. What do you think about AM now? Anything in particular you want on that sandwich?
If Faton is given the chance, take this to the bank, he is head and shoulders above any quarterback that is either in Athens or on their way. Big, strong, smart, team player, could give a spit less about high school BMOC BS.
This is a man/child that you don't want to spend your Saturday afternoons tackling. He is all that. Starting to believe that Mike Bobo sees what Faton has to offer. If he does not play this coming year, 2014, I will never shut my trap. Personally, feel Mike Bobo will play Faton more than some think.
Have to say this. Any time you have a quarterback like AM, there is a reason beyond talent and brains that means so much to the offensive side of the ball . . . . a simple little thing like . . . . COUNT CADENCE. Never heard it mentioned here or any of the other blogs, or from the media talking heads. If you played the game, you understand how valuable that single part of the offense is. It can and does amount to winning and losing. AM was a master. From where I sit, Faton Bauta gets playing time, some of the others are going to sit, or transfer. JMHO.
