Hope it was not pot, but where there is smoke there is usually fire. My dad use to say. if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck ... it's usually a duck.
BTW - wasn't it JHC who was late getting his paperwork in on signing day? Something about his grandfather wanting him to go to UF. Wonder if he still feels that way and maybe he should go there.
Go Dawgs! GATA!
TN Dawg, JHC has been on this path for a long time. I say, age my butt, he thinks he is above it all. See where many are "worried" about him not playing at UGA. That is or was . . . . his choice, and he chose the path to follow. Twice in 2013 he has abandoned his team mates, anyone think that will change? Twice in 2013, seems to be on track with IC and his ways.
Really don't care if it was academics (for which there is no excuse) or the pot route. He can be replaced by young men that would love to play between the Hedges. If our head coach allows him to sit one or two games and then return, that is on our head coach. Maybe some of us would remind our head coach to review the film of IC in ATL brushing past him on the sideline.
FSU has the Heisman winner this season, anyone see Jimbo Fisher grab his face mask on the sideline and look him straight in the eyes? Anyone watch over the past several years, Saban approaching a player coming off of the field and read the riot act to him. Kirby Smart can be substituted for Nick Saban in the last sentence.
Sooner or later whoever it is that runs the football program at UGA is going to "man up" and realize that "some" of these young pups are not "choir boys". Simple as that in my opinion.
JHC and some folks close to him were not and are still not on board with grantham.
Reading comments from other boards, many say other universities are allowing "football players" a lot of slack, why not us . . . .
That falls on Slive's a$$. He could make all SEC universities play under the same rules . . . . interesting how Slive has evaded that point. Follow the damn money.
NFL players play under the same rules for "any team" they represent, rules are clear in the NFL. You do, you get caught, you are in trouble. Not a lot of "preacher types" in the NFL. Not many "preacher types" in the college ranks. Stop there, because most know what I would say next.
Will be surprised if we don't hear something soon from McGarity or our head coach. Trouble is brewing in Athens.
TN Dawg, it is a duck.
