Wow. Good question.
If there is no Co-MVP
Murray 51%
Gurley 49%

Good one, richt. Who would have them????? Another year of no joy in football, I guess.

And Murray in a close one.

Well.... despite the fact that I just read the post about no changes in the D staff... I suppose I will overcome my disillusionment
and respond.

No question: AM

Gurley missed 3 full games and half of another.

Murray went out there for all but 1 game, and performed at a high level despite losing weapon, after weapon, after weapon, after weapon, after weapon...including Mr. Gurley. (And my lost weapon count there is not an exaggeration) The running game was supposed to take a lot of pressure off of AM, but he even lost those weapons (Gurley and Marshall).

Even after suffering a torn ACL, AM was still out there performing at a high level and had to be dragged off of the field.

Sorry... Gurley was a manbeast when he was on the field and healthy, but this team's MVP this season is AM.

AM, not really even close to me. Gurley is unbelievable, but was lights out this year. Said before, the fact he wasn't even really mentioned to go to New York is a complete disgrace.

How is it possible to even give the vote of confidence the CMR has given this defensive unit??? There should at least have been a period to review this past years disasters. Guessing that also means no ST coach. Wow.

Of course, that is with the assumption that we don't go get Kirby. I know, I am dreaming, but at least it is a good dream.

How is it possible?

Mark Richt is how it's possible, and it's a big part of the reason why he needs to go. The fact that he can look at his defense not just this year, but the underperforming NFL squad from last year as well, and come up with "everything is great... nothing needs to change" speaks volumes about his competency as a HC running a program.

He doesn't even come out and say we will examine all aspects of our team and make changes if we deem change is necessary... nope. Just a flat out refusal to even review the staff apparently.

That is incompetence at being the CEO. That should be done every year, but especially coming off this hot mess of a D.

Wow is right.

You know, you would think he would come out and make that comment ("examine all aspects etc") EVEN if he didn't really mean it....dumb on his part from CEO perspective.

Creates no sense of urgency.
