UGA is not fundamentally sound.

Somebody usually points this out whenever criticism is leveled at the program, but that never stops the sunshine pumpers from calling us fair weather fans and non supportive for "whining and crying about one loss." Guessing this one will be no different.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

It's okay though... we can still make it to and lose the SECCG, and make the Cap one bowl... ending with a successful
3 loss season that would be the envy of 80 other D-1 programs like Ga Tech, Virginia, and Arizona St.

Yay

Comes a time when we have to ask this question . . . . Could this Georgia team stand up against Alabama in Atlanta?

I am worried about this Georgia team standing up against Vandy in Nashville!!!!

What would I like to see at this point . . . . would like to see Grantham resign, Chris Wilson step in, go back to a four man front and allow the players to play.

If you get to post your UGA Christmas wish, I will as well, Buc. Like to see Richt resign, we hire that man who would be laughing all the way to the next crystal challenge as HC, and let him sort the rest out.

And before the flames start about richt never leaving, see my post from around a month ago concerning that.

sadlerdawg, Richt is no dummy. Took him much too long to change the "situation" that existed under Willie. Cannot recall Richt ever down playing Willie's lack of "defensive football coaching ability". With his comment at halftime in the Missouri game, he moved 180 degrees away from his previous stance.

Could very well be that we will see "quoted out of context" sometime this week.

As Spurrier proved not long ago, head football coaches can and do have an effect on reporters. No talking about "talking heads" talking about reporters.

If the current situation remains the same, will not be surprised to see "hot seat" talk begin.

Yesterday LSU whipped the gators soundly. I watched Les Miles closely, the players on that team "give it up" for Miles. Florida has some rough games ahead, if they don't come around in grand fashion, there will be "serious hot seat talk" in Gainesville, Florida. Muschamp and Grantham seem to have this "thing" about them . . . . always screaming and pointing fingers and shaking their heads. Don't recollect either of them being All Americans.

One thing I do know sadlerdawg. When you play defense the way we are playing or should I say not playing, everyone attached to the program, fans or anyone else not only have the right to speak out, they/we also have the right to know.

Offensive line, think AM needs to let that group buy their own ice cream. Seems they have to have a boot up their butts to play back to back games. Appears that way to me.

yd1 earlier this season we were talking about the speed of our defensive players. Get this group set in a four man front, play a little "play ground" football, might see some serious results on the D side.

We don't block, cover, or tackle.

been saying that for the last 3 years. who's fault is it. The coaches. period. end of story.

D is swiss cheese

we got an O coordinator whom cannot change up for an entire half even tho they load the box and kill our 2 TE set

We got a HC who cannot even improve or coach special teams

anyone see anything in common here.

Been saying it for a while along with a few others but we get posted down because they recruit well or are a good man etc etc etc

I am going to try and say something positive here amongst my other frustration driven comments...

Next week I am pretty confident that we will be able to hold Vandy to under 38 points. I know I am going out on a limb of positivity, but I'm trying to keep the faith I've been told to keep for so very, very long.
