The problem I see with the D is confusion. CTG needs to dumb it down some. This is NOT the NFL. Really proud of the way our front line guys played today. Stopped the run of a very good LSwho backfield and won the line of scrimmage against a very good LSwho O line. Vast improvement has been made in our run defense. The secondary is a work in progress and like I said some of the coverage schemes need to be dumbed down, young guys back there and they still have a big learning curve to over come. We griped about our run D we kind of overlooked our cover guys.
Mettenburger showed what he was made of and he will be playing on Sunday no doubt about it. I say good for him.
Good win still have some issues but this team deserved the win and the coaches get an A from me.
