Think I read in another place that Georgia is now listed as #6. AP poll. Goes along with what ogredawg posted earlier, commenting on what Mark May said yesterday. Georgia is the best one loss team in the country.

Will Friend, find and get the signature of a left tackle. Would mean so much to next years team.

I only said "thank you", but I want to comment a little more. kentdaddy was absolutely right when he said that LSU defense was largely reputation, I have no doubt. However, I still think they aren't too shabby. Watching some of the replays, WOW! I was seeing some pretty nice holes and some pretty AWESOME protection. One of my favorite examples of that was that last TD . . . Murray had time and looked very relaxed making that throw. He had time to make his reads and found the WIDE OPEN guy. (I love watching that replay, because those LSU DB's were waving their arms at each other in frustration, just like on that pass to Michael Bennett, again - wide open.)

Will Friend is doing his job, it seems. And who on earth would have thought Mark May would EVER have anything good to say about Georgia?!

I'm just now able to get to reply about the Dawgs game from Saturday, wife has the PC on the weekend for her college classes. :(

So here's what I got to say about Saturday's game:

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA GO DAWGS!!!!!! :woohoo:

What a great win against a real good team in the SEC!

1 I was so worried before the game on Saturday that the "D" wasn't going to be about to stop the run and I was wrong! Thank god I was wrong!

2 I was worried about the Dawgs special team not making plays and I was wrong! Thank got I was wrong!

3 I was worried the O-line was going to wear down in the second half and LSU take over the game and I was wrong! Thank god I was wrong!

4 I was worried AM was going to get kill my LSU "D" and I was wrong! Thank god I was wrong!

5 I was worried Bobo was going to call some dumb plays and he called "only one" play that was dumb! Thank god for that! And I hope they take that play out of the playbook because I haven't seen it work before Isaiah Crowell was a RB for the Dawgs!

I love the intensity the Dawgs sideline had during the game, they were pumped up! :woohoo:

Also I have some Dawgs neighbors come over and we get together for every game and boy I thought we were going to knock the walls down in my house, we were going crazy the last 5 minutes of the game! Thank god the walls stood up like the Dawgs "D" did on LSU last drive! :woohoo:

Agreed...

I highlighted and underlined the important part. While there may be some truth to the fact that LSU's D is somewhat based on
reputation over substance, let's not discount the substance too much. We had a great game plan, we called it as well as it anyone could expect, and we executed.

So I'm going to say LSU's D was partly reputation, but still pretty solid. Kudos to our O, and lets not take anything away from them.
When we have a good plan, call it in rhythm, and execute it... there's not a D in the country that can hold it down for long.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
