Another good observation. Spot on about the tunnel vision.
When AM was not in Athens sharing his knowledge with his team mates, he was in camps like the Mannings have or in Oklahoma studying how to become a better leader.
My way of thinking, it is not the player that has more zip on the ball, or has the wheels to do as Vick and others have done.
I think one of AM's biggest assets is his ability to adapt. He can run, has proven that. Can throw better than average, far better.
What impresses me most is the fact that AM is a leader, much more so now than previous years. Believe he has what I would refer to as the "total package" needed to run our team. When the players give up their "free summer time" to hang with AM . . . . there is something to be said for that.
Clock is ticking, won't be too long now. Instead of three or four of the Clemson players in our place watching us basically practice, there will be many "Dawgs" in their stadium to "match up with".
Dawgs are going to look a lot like a Payton Manning offense this season. As you say thriller, we have more than one receiver (with speed if necessary) to cause Clemson defense problems like they did not encounter against LSU.
