Good Morning All,

It was good to see so many old friends returning to posting this past week.

Buc once again thanks for keeping the coals banked over the summer until it was time to stoke the fire prior to seasons start.

You did yeoman research work with your film clips keeping us up to speed with our Dawgs.

I have spoken here before about how I feel that this site is like a cyberspace “Cheers” were we all come to enjoy football and each other’s company.

I can see Buck holding down his corner spot of the bar while conducting court.

We care =We Share = We love our Dawg’s Football- Period!!!

CMB in today’s paper spoke that we will be working the “Ones” against each other more this camp than in the recent past.

All the coaches sited that more time will also be used this camp planning for the first two games.

CTG wants to use the first 10 days to sort out his depth chart and then the rest of camp working in game schemes

I like the idea of coaches and players focused and tasked planning for an actual game

Understand that we have a new rope on the chapel bell to avoid the risk of breakage from excessive use this season

Short four weeks until Tee Time

I will see if Georgia is up to giving me some tips on barking

What is really nice to see is some competition for the 0 line spots. 3 spots open with 5/6 very good players wanting those spots.............can only make them a better group especially with KH back in the mix

Marshall is coming in at 220 pounds he is ripped and ready to play.

Gurley is coming in at 238 and faster .

I am really excited about this years team. The one most critical change that I have seen over the last 10 months or so is the attitude of the coaching staff. The change has been for the betterment not only for the team but for us die hard fans as well. I have been one of the most critical of CMR and CMB and to some extent CTG. This team is still a "young" team overall with the exception of the QB position. Who would not like to have Murray and then a back up like Mason. This team is "young" but it is also experienced even on the D side of the ball. A lot of the players on both sides of the ball got a lot of playing time last year and it will show itself this year. This is year 4 of the "change" and it should be a great year with "No Excuses" again being the major theme.

This team is poised to become one of the great teams in Dawg Football history. We deserve our top 5 rankings by the major polls, and if we make it thru Sept 4-0 we will be in the top 2 if not #1 by then........One game at a time and on to the Crystal Football.........

There were some great photos on the ajc.com this morning of the first practice. Finally going to get a chance to see some of the young pups we have been waiting on. GATA.
