yankeedawg1, level playing field will stop a lot of the "messes" and "excuse making" that many participate in. On board there my friend.

The entire nation is snapping at the heels of the SEC. They want to see changes. Don't have a problem with that. Do want to see this from those like Urban Meyer and Ohio State . . . . get the hell off of their high and mighty perch and play by the same rules that they want others to abide by.

Straight talk. The NCAA and Emmert did not apply the same rules to Ohio State that were applied to Southern California.

Might be one voice, but can promise one and all this . . . . I still have my eyes and ears in the direction of Emmert and the NCAA. They think all of this will go away the closer we get to football season. They might be right, too many football "fans" only care about the football season, not the overall "health" of "college football". FACT. Not being ugly, just giving my opinion.

By using your comparison of the NCAA to the IRS. I think both houses need to be cleaned out and scrap the current rules/codes and simplify it. That way every one is on the same page. As it is there is to many weeds for the snakes to hide in. Do like the idea of a single testing policy for all administered by the SEC. So tired of players with talent but no character thinking the world owes them something.
