Good get ogredawg. I keep hearing speed and more speed. With players like Tray Matthews and others, believe we have power with speed. Have always liked David Paschall's work.

Another read that I liked ogredawg. Really like hearing Olivadotti's name and respect being paid to him by the players.

Could the coaches (CMR/Bobo) be right??

Ok, start the bantering.....actually is a good discussion.

Actually a very good post wlayton.

AM in the early going had to figure out how to discipline himself a bit. New from high school, got away with a few things, would bet the farm one of the reasons that Richt/Bobo cautioned him was simple. Young man, this is not high school football, SEC can change ones thoughts. Opponents watch film and every player has tendencies.

What I think AM is saying . . . . Got the Richt/Bobo methods down. Last few years have been more of a pocket passer, good thing. Now maybe he can go back to the beginnning of his college career and run in "select situations". That would come from being able to read what is going on, called experience, allows that yardage he referred to . . . . 5 to 7 yards to keep the defense on the sideline. It forces the bad guys into situations that they prefer not to be in.

I know this, in the short time that AM has been our quarterback, there has been some awesome defensive talent that he has had to contend with. Young man has a big heart, is not afraid, also is not stupid. Going to watch him and his mates this season playing with a lot of effort, beginning with Clemson.

Finally, AM knows that he has to get down, he did not fully understand that in his first year at the helm. This is the year that getting down, playing smart, so to speak enhances his chances in the NFL. My opinion.

BUMP!!......Dead on Buc, great analysis.....operative point that stands out in your post...he's smarter now.

wlayton, not too much talk about our tightends, many of us know that is a strength on the 2013 team. When we look at the other weapons on the offensive unit, both running and receiving, AM "threatening" to take that 5-7 yard trip forward, puts a lot of "pressure" on a defense that already has enough to worry about without AM talking a stroll forward. This could be a big deal in our first two games. :)

Soooooo many weapons on offense. Still believe they will carry our D the first few games.

Lot being said about the young defense in the time slot that you describe wlayton.

Really liked the link that ogredawg posted this morning written by David Paschall.

Know that it is that "time" of the year when hopes sky rocket. Better that way than the other. One point in the article mentioned Grantham and his "teaching" and "nurturing" abilities. That is what takes me to the next level wlayton. I feel that Grantham is that kind of person. Another thing, if he is going to hang around with Mark Richt, the caring feature is a "must".

Like many others, I believe that we are going to see several commitments soon. X number of scholarships and the room can get crowded quickly. Bird in the hand, worth two in the bush, my opinion.

Read on the Lady Sportswriter's site this morning that Shaq Wiggins says he is coming to Athens to win a spot. Shut down corner, not every player can do that. Shaq can.
