I don't remember where (maybe here?), but I know I read somewhere that Ole Miss is raising some eyebrows with its ability to grab these recruits like this. I read something to the effect that they have been promising to extend scholarships to family members of certain recruits to "sweeten the pot".
FakeESPN, a humor site, posted a fake report that the NCAA has rented apartments in Oxford in anticipation of the impending investigations!
Just keeping in mind here that Boise State came to our fair state and whipped our 4 and 5 star talent with 2 and 3 star talent. COACH THEM UP - I think I've heard that before!
thriller, my computer did not have your post up before I posted below your post. Seems again we are on the same wave length. Scary. . . .

If he was interested in winning a SEC Championship or a NC he wouldn't have gone to Ole Miss.

Agreed. I wanted him here too, but his mind obviously isn't in the same place we want it to be for him to come here. Seems obvious his attitude is, "More Me, Please."

So can it be said that this is a "good" year for UGA recruiting? We cannot get them all of course but only ONE of the top players going to UGA.
I have to agree with ogredawg, I think it was an awful year for UGA recruiting when it comes to the best prospects. We got 2 of the top 10 players in the state. When the #9 player tried to commit to us several weeks ago, we turned him away because we were after guys like Adams.
Bad day imo.....guess we'll see in a few years.
My info was based on Rivals....they seem to be the best as far as rating the players and over the last several years have been pretty spot on with the "top" recruits......
not a "bad" class but really no 0 line help in the immediate future. Lots of good D help and depth but the 0 line will be a worry for years to come.....

Comments: Brendan Douglas may not be the most coveted running back recruit in the Bulldogs’ signing day haul, but this former Class A offensive player of the year brings plenty of options, not to mention more depth, to the Georgia backfield. Douglas benefited from some recent changes in Georgia’s expected commitments and jumped at the chance, dropping a commitment to Georgia Tech to sign with rival Georgia
