DAWGtm, guess I am beating the same dead horse, seem to remember a highly rated running back that without fail had to ask AM what to do on almost every snap of the ball. Anyone that has played the position knows the quarterback has to know what every man is supposed to do on every call.
In my humble opinion, that is a sad thing. Young man with incredible talent, picked up a few honors as a freshman, unlimited future. Had one serious hang up for a running back . . . . did not like CONTACT.
Personally, don't think that Mark Richt will ever go through that again with one of his recruits. Richt has always been a very generous person, do believe the sideline experience changed his way of focusing on the job he was hired to do. Might be that some of his current coaches and an athletic director mentioned that to him. Just a guess, of course.
Right now there are some of the young men that like playing the media game prior to the 2013 signing date, however, once they sign, the name of the game they have been playing changes. All business.
Grushall men came to campus to play football and get an education. Seems they are accomplishing both and doing well.
Say it again, 2013 will speak for itself. I have high hopes and am glad that we are playing a schedule that could turn out to be a blessing.
