Good post wlayton. Thought I was through posting for the day, came up and read your offering, had to post the link below concerning Richt's conference today. He is saying more and expecting more it appears. I like it. He is not putting out the same line he did for so long. imo
CMR is hungry. He's had a taste and I believe he wants it all (NC) Like you've said, CMR is tougher, more focused, hands on, energetic and may I add..........HUNGRY.
You can just "feel" it.
You can tell when a coach knows he has something, it may be subtle with a confident remark here or there, but CMR knows he's got the talent and that they are going to be really good.........without just saying it!!
He sees the talent everyday that eventually emerges for us all to see come game days. I remember a UGA webcast about the upcoming season when DJ took over and everybody was questioning how good we would be with DG gone.......he said, quote, "I think everybody is going to like what they are going to see".
The future looks good in Georgia but like some have already said it's CTG time his players his system I think with the recruits that are headed to Athens this defense will be better than last year will just have to weather the first 3 to 4 games. Then I think the secondary will come together and be one of the best Georgia has ever had. (IMO)
We still have GURSHALL so I feel everybody will have to try and score as much as they do will be fun to watch.
