Bouncing around a bit. When the final whistle blew in Orlando had my eyes on the far side, Nebraska's side. What really caught my attention was the players lining up and leaving the field with their heads down. A handful of Nebraska's players stayed on the field and shook hands with the Georgia players. Understandable, lost to South Carolina last year on the same turf.
This goes to show that the Big Whatever is lacking, especially when it comes to playing the SEC. They hate being beaten, but hate it even more when it is an SEC school. Much of the nation and that includes the media want so badly to knock us off of our throne. Six (6) in a row from the share croppers from below the Mason/Dixon. Unless I miss my bet, seven (7) is just around the corner.
Nebraska's quarterback is still a bit mouthy about the SEC talent as compared to the Big Whatever talent. They had a really good chance in Orlando, especially when we look at national statistics that pointed out that they were the best pass defenders in the country. My, my, numbers don't always prove to be true.
Nice piece of work Mike Bobo, Grantham calm down, every game does not have to be like the one against Vanderbilt and Franklin. Stop all of the technical crap, might even think about lining up . . . . yes, said lining up in a four man front. Easy enough to figure out that all of our talent this year was exposed in your 3/4.
Said more than once this season that I liked our entire coaching staff. Still do, but I have been around football for sometime and I do not like the ground and pound yardage that Grantham's 3/4 is giving up. Case in point, look at the film on the Orlando game. Nebraska is not Alabama, another case in point.
Asking many of the folks on this board this question. If you had to game plan offensively for Georgia, would your plan be to run or pass? Usually one or the other is a strong suit and the game plan is normally drawn up that way. Just curious.
