Agreed i was really disappointed to see that our d couldn't stop their run game. Bamas o line really stepped it up. On another note did anyone else notice that when bama actually did throw the ball the guy that was open a good amount of the time was the guys swann was covering. 3 example really stook out to me. 1st pass of the game, the wide reciever screen, and the play action pass for a td.

Do believe Swann is going to be a real good one though. Cooper for BAMA is the real deal......only a freshman (I think). Cooper will eventually play on Sundays.....Swann as well.

1. BAMA's OL kicked our big bad D's tail.....ran it straight at us and we couldn't do anything about it. Play them again and they would DO it again......350+ yards on the ground speaks for itself.

2. AM played the best game of his career......the offense played very well imo. BAMA is great against the run but not great with the pass rush, so they threw it on 1st down some to avoid them dialing up blitzes on 2nd an/or 3rd. I don't put this loss on the offense, especially with BAMA's offense putting up over 500 yards.

3. I agree that my 1st instincts would have been to spike the ball and set things up for 2 plays. Either way they were going to get 2 more plays and AM stated he thought BAMA was on their heels so they attemped the fade in the back right corner.

What's missing in this converstaion is BAMA's LB made a great play and tipped the ball, that's what "possibly" cost us the game. Even if we had spiked it and got the 2 plays, doesn't mean we would have converted. Hindsight is always 20/20.

4. Bottom line.....we played the best game of the year, we absorbed BAMA's OL punching us in the mouth and still almost won the game. Believe we were more "out manned" than "out coached".

Even with Bama running on us like they did we still were ahead most of the game. And we should have won it. Bama and Saban were scared you could see how freaked he was especially after his fake punt blew up and ours worked we had um and let um go. If we had ran more scored slower yes our D would have been in better shape. but coulda woulda shoulda. anyway I do think we will be back in the SEC Championship game next yr or the next still lots of young talent and hear Hutson Mason is looking good. Today is a Dark day But I think CMR is pissed dont know if yall saw the press conf. but Ivenever seen him like that. I think this game even though HURTS NOW. I think its a Shawn Williams wake up call for CMR. Truly think he will get us to the promise land before he leaves. GOO DAWGSS!!!!

OSD, I did see the press conference and you are right......CMR was pretty upset.

Btw....with this loss, AM may come back imo. With this offense intact, he could have a huge 2013 and raise his draft stock. He's ranked the 7th best QB if he comes out this year....could be top 3 next year, easy.

I believe your right I think this game has CMR and AM more determine to prove something to themselves as well as the northern MEDIA. Also have a question what will happen to the guy who cheap shotted AM, I thought he would have a concussion after that BS shot he took. Shows AM is a man. I know in the NFL he would get HUGE FINE plus Suspension so anyone Know?
