Alabama/Georgia

I think,all things being equal,that if the Dawgs can keep an even keel they will win the game. The problem is all things are'nt equal,we have the upper hand in the passing game, and they are very tough against the run. We all know where our running game is headed with Gurley and Marshall,the future is bright. If we could just find a way to have a decent game on the ground and we do what is natural in the passing game we have a very good chance of winning this ball game. The Dawgs only have to play within themselves and stay focused and they can go after the NC. I'm praying that our guys can do what some believe they can't and come away with a win. Really believe that all of the young men on the team are going to give an absolute effort. These young warriors (I believe that) are going to maybe play this game like no other they have ever participated in. I have no doubts that the entire defensive front will come to play . . . . every play.

Now . . . . Much is being said about our offensive line . . . . had enough, anyone that thinks that this group won't stand up and play this game, hang on soupy . . . . Will Friend and his group might surprise many with just how good they can play. Anyone that ever played in a football game that had much meaning to it understands that things out of the normal range can happen. Yes, I think that Will Friend was the missing link on the offensive side. Another "high five" to Mark Richt and his selection for a position coach.

Allow me this . . . . any of us that thinks we are not in for a tussle that we have not seen in years, yes years, had better wake up and realize that this is Alabama. At this point they can live on what they have done recently, sadly on that scale, we cannot. We can get there with this game, and I believe.

We have a group of young men that said they wanted to come back, that they did, and now it is in their hands. Their wish was granted. Have heard it said at different places . . . . this is the National Championship Game, think thriller said that, know that thriller said that. Two fine SEC football teams that understand why the SEC has six (6) years running in American Football, carrying the ultimate trophy that belongs to the best team and conference in America. Others want the Crystal . . . . take it away from us. The SOUTH did rise again, 6 times, going on 7.

Closer this old fart gets to kickoff, the butterflies start to mount. I remember playing big games in high school and service football, but never could I start to imagine what these young men are going to do on Saturday in Atlanta.

Buc will be a total f'ing wreck come the first day of December. Know that I ramble a lot, maybe too much, but from tonight (Wednesday 28th) until kickoff, it will be impossible to shut this old fart up.

Guess I used a dimes worth, tired of the two cents at this point. Hell, maybe a quarters worth tomorrow. . . . Time for the pro and con folks on this board to get involved . . . . nothing to say before the game, bet here is that the board will light up with . . . . Pro and Con late Saturday. Me thinks. If you haven't posted here or seldom do, it does not get any better than UGA playing Alabama for the right to kick Notre Dame's butt . . . . AGAIN.

Don't stop now Brother, let it all hang out. If for some reason things don't come out the way all of us want them to . . . . we don't have to come out of the bushes and tell the board what little we knew about Georgia football. One more thingy . . . . Did any of you guys pay attention to Christian Robinson #45 in the GT game. Call it any way we want, CR kicked butt, and he will be doing the same in Atlanta. Made me proud. Telling you guys, trying to anyway, this bunch is ready to fight, brawl, call it anything we want, CTG has these young men ready. This is WAR.

Buc, as far as I'm concerned, go get you about $1000 worth!!!.....this is BIG and it is great for the DAWG NATION. Anyone that can't get pumped for this doesn't have a pulse.

Thank you wlayton. What I am presenting to this board is REAL. I am f'ing PUMPED. Couple of folks that I have conversations with concerning Dawg/Gator football said look at what Ben Prevost has to say about this game. Believe it or not, there are some Gators that are in our camp, just cannot say it out loud. . . . .
